INGREDIENTS
- ± 2.0 – 2.5 kg leg of lamb/mutton,
- Bisto Instant Meat Flavoured Gravy Powder (optional),
- 3 – 4 garlic cloves, crushed (optional),
- 1 or more onion cut in 4 (optional),
- potatoes (optional),
- flavourings of your choice,
- salt and pepper,
- a little bit of liquid (beer, wine, water) to cover the bottom of the bowl
Cover the bottom of the Large/XL Oval Roaster with a little bit of liquid. Add the garlic and onions. Sprinkle both sides of the meat with the Bisto, salt and pepper (or your favourite seasoning). Put in a cold oven and turn it on at 160ºC. Cover with the lid and bake for 60 – 90 minutes or until done and beautifully browned. Don’t overcook. Serve hot or cold.
NOTE: You can add large potatoes to the XL Oval Roaster and baby potatoes to the Lage Oval Roaster. Just sprinkle it with salt and arrange it around your meat.

- 3 – 4 knoffelhuisies, fyngedruk (opsioneel),
- 1 of meer ui in 4 gesny (opsioneel),
- aartappels (opsioneel),
- geurmiddels van jou keuse,
- sout en peper,
- ‘n bietjie vloeistof (bier, wyn, water) om die onderkant van die bak te bedek
Bedek die onderkant van die Large/XL Oval Roaster met ‘n bietjie vloeistof. Voeg die knoffel en ui by. Sprinkel beide kante van die vleis met die Bisto, sout en peper of jou gunsteling geurmiddel. Sit in ‘n koue oond en skakel dit aan by 160ºC. Sit die deksel op en bak vir 60 – 90 minute of tot gaar en pragtig bruin. Moenie oorgaar maak nie. Bedien warm of koud.
NOTA: Jy kan lekker groot aartappels in die XL Oval Roaster, en baba aartappels in die Large Oval Roaster by voeg. Gooi dit net goed sout en rankskik dit om die vleis.
