RECIPE / RESEP
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oxtails
- 2 large onions, roughly chopped
- 1 can, 410g, baked beans in tomato sauce
- salt, pepper and seasoning to taste
- a little paprika – optional
- a little oil
- a couple of carrots, cut into strips
METHOD
Put the onion, carrots and oxtail in the Large Gourmet Roaster. Season as desired and sprinkle with some oil. Put the lid on and cook for 2-hours at 160°C, or until the meat is nice and soft (should still stick to the bones but pull off easily). Add the beans and cook for another 30-minutes without the lid.
>> Serve with samp and a fresh salad. You can make the samp in the Small Deep Gourmet Roaster and cook it with the oxtail in the same oven.
BESTANDDELE
- 2 beessterte
- 2 groot uie, grof gekap
- 1 blikkie, 410g, baked beans in tomato sauce
- sout, peper en geurmiddels na smaak
- ‘n bietjie paprika – opsioneel
- ‘n bietjie olie
- ‘n paar wortels in repe gesny – opsioneel
