RECIPE / RESEP
INGREDIENTS – Chips
- 2 -3 potatoes, cut into chips
- ± 20 – 30 ml oil
- Salt or any other seasoning to taste
INGREDIENTS – Sauce
- 62.5 ml (¼ cup) plain yoghurt
- 62.5 ml (¼ cup) tomato sauce
- 10 – 15 ml honey/syrup
- 30 ml yellow mustard
- 10 ml mayonnaise
- 15 ml dill gherkins juice
- salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika
METHOD – Chips
Rinse the potato chips and dry them on a kitchen towel. Put the chips in a clean plastic bag. Add the oil and shake it up to cover all the chips. Transfer the chips to a Medium Classic Roaster. Cover with the lid and microwave for 3-5 minutes on High. Check, and lightly stir the potatoes. Put it back in the microwave without the lid, for another 3-4 minutes on High. Season to taste.
METHOD – Sauce
Mix the sauce ingredients. Add a dash of salt, garlic powder and paprika. Taste and adjust the seasoning, if needed. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
BESTANDDELE – Chips
- 2 -3 aartappels, in skyfies gesny
- ± 20 – 30 ml olie
- sout of enige ander geurmiddel na smaak
BESTANDDELE – Sous
- 62,5 ml (¼ koppie) gewone jogurt
- 62,5 ml (¼ koppie) tamatiesous
- 10 – 15 ml heuning/stroop
- 30 ml geel mosterd
- 10 ml mayonnaise
- 15 ml dille agurkies sap
- sout, knoffelpoeier, uiepoeier en paprika
METODE – Chips
Spoel die aartappelskyfies af en droog dit op ‘n kombuispapier. Sit die skyfies in ‘n skoon plastieksak. Voeg die olie by en skud dit op om al die skyfies te bedek. Plaas die skyfies oor na ‘n Medium Classic Roaster. Bedek met die deksel en mikrogolf vir 3-5 minute op Hoog. Kontroleer en roer die aartappels liggies. Sit dit terug in die mikrogolf sonder die deksel, vir nog 3-4 minute op High. Geur na smaak.
METODE – Sous
Meng die sousbestanddele. Voeg ‘n bietjie sout, knoffelpoeier en paprika by. Proe en pas die geurmiddels aan, indien nodig. Verkoel tot gereed om te bedien.
