RECIPE / RESEP
INGREDIENTS – Cake
- 1½ tablespoon salted butter melted
- 3 tablespoon milk
- ½teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 tablespoon flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons finely shredded carrots
- 1 tablespoon pecan nuts, crushed
INGREDIENTS – Cream Cheese Frosting
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese softened at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons milk/fresh cream
METHOD
In an Argilla Square mug, melt the butter for about 10 seconds on High in the microwave oven. Add the brown sugar, vanilla extract, and milk and mix well. Add the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon and mix well.
Add the carrots and pecan nuts, keeping some of the pecan nuts aside to use as a topping. Mix well.
Place the mug in the microwave and bake, on high for 80-90 seconds. Remove from the microwave and let it cool slightly.
Mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk together to create a cream cheese frosting. Once the cake has slightly cooled, add your frosting on top of the cake, and garnish with the pecan nuts.
Tip: You can remove the cake from the mug and decorate it or simply decorate it in the mug and enjoy!
BESTANDDELE – Koek
- 1½ eetlepel gesoute botter gesmelt
- 3 eetlepels melk
- ½ teelepel vanielje-ekstrak
- 2 eetlepels bruinsuiker
- 4 eetlepels meel
- ¼ teelepel bakpoeier
- ¼ teelepel kaneel
- 2 eetlepels fyn gerasperde wortels
- 1 eetlepel pekanneute, fyngedruk
BESTANDDELE – Roomkaasversiersel
- 2 eetlepels roomkaas saggemaak by kamertemperatuur
- 2 teelepels versiersuiker
- 2 teelepels melk/vars room
METODE
In ‘n Argilla Square Mug, smelt die botter vir ongeveer 10 sekondes op Hoog in die mikrogolfoond. Voeg die bruinsuiker, vanielje-uittreksel en melk by en meng goed. Voeg die meel, bakpoeier en kaneel by en meng goed.
Voeg die wortels en pekanneute by, hou van die pekanneute eenkant om as bolaag te gebruik. Meng goed.
Plaas die beker in die mikrogolfoond en bak, op hoog vir 80-90 sekondes. Haal uit die mikrogolf en laat dit effens afkoel.
Meng die sagte roomkaas, versiersuiker en melk saam om ‘n roomkaasversiersel te maak. Sodra die koek effens afgekoel het, voeg jou versiersel bo-op die koek, en garneer met die pekanneute.
Wenk: Jy kan die koek uit die beker haal en dit versier of dit eenvoudig in die beker versier en geniet!
