INGREDIENTS – Rice
- 250 ml brown rice
- 750 ml water
- 1 cube chicken/beef stock
- salt to taste
METHOD
Mix together in a Medium Gourmet Roaster. Microwave uncovered on High for 10 minutes. Reduce power to 50%, cover the bowl, and microwave for another 20 minutes. Set aside for 10 minutes. Prepare the roasted vegetables while the rice rests.
INGREDIENTS – Vegetables
- 2 medium carrots, cut into strips
- ½ of a small butternut, cubed
- ½ cup broccoli, cut into small pieces
- ½ cup cauliflower, cut into small pieces
- oil
- paprika
- salt and pepper
- Feta cheese
- 30 ml mixed seeds
METHOD
Put the vegetables in a Medium Classic Roaster. Drizzle with oil. Season with the paprika, salt and pepper. Microwave for 10 minutes, uncovered on High.
ASSEMBLE
Pour the cooked brown rice into one of our salad bowls, or divide it between the smaller Pasta/Salad Bowls for individual servings. Add the roasted vegetables to the rice and top with the mixed seeds and crumbled feta. Serve with plain yoghurt seasoned with garlic and herb spice or our delicious Mayo Sauce.

METODE
Meng saam in ‘n Medium Gourmet Roaster. Mikrogolf onbedek op Hoog vir 10 minute. Verminder krag tot 50%, bedek die bak en mikrogolf vir nog 20 minute. Hou eenkant vir 10 minute.
Berei die geroosterde groente voor terwyl die rys rus.
BESTANDDELE – Groente
- 2 medium wortels, in repe gesny
- ½ van ‘n klein botterskorsie, in blokkies gesny
- ½ koppie broccoli, in klein stukkies gesny
- ½ koppie blomkool, in klein stukkies gesny
- olie
- paprika
- sout en peper
- Fetakaas
- 30 ml gemengde sade
METODE
Plaas die groente in ‘n Medium Classic Roaster. Bedruip met olie. Geur met die paprika, sout en peper. Mikrogolf vir 10 minute, onbedek op Hoog.
KOMBINEER
Gooi die gaar bruinrys in een van ons slaaibakke, of verdeel dit tussen die kleiner Pasta/Salad Bowls vir individuele porsies. Voeg die geroosterde groente by die rys en bo-op met die gemengde sade en gekrummelde feta. Sit voor met gewone jogurt gegeur met knoffel en kruie speserye of ons heerlike Mayo Sous.
